Zinc-plated oval sleeves are the fittings used to secure sizes #3 (GOLD), #4 (ORANGE), #6 (GREEN), and #8 (BLACK) Seismic Cable connections. Loos’ Zinc-plated oval sleeves are the only acceptable method to make secure connections to Loos’ Seismic Bracing Cable.
Properly swaged (crimped) with a Loos handswaging tool or a Loos battery-operated swaging tool, the cable connection will actually exceed the breaking strength of the cable to which it is connected.
